Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any service, application, or platform operated by Professional Stafflink Pty Ltd (ABN: 68 689 969 104) trading as Professional FinanceLink ("PFL", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

PFL provides digital tools and applications designed to assist individuals and businesses with personal finance management, payroll, and related financial services ("our Services").

Our Services include, but are not limited to:

  • PFL Personal Budget App — a personal budgeting tool

  • PFL Super Tool — a tool to convert payroll data into SuperStream-compliant SAFF files for submission to a superannuation clearing house

  • Any other applications or platforms we make available from time to time

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you must sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Google account
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at info@professionalfinancelink.com.au

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use our Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our Services
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
  • Use our Services to transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content

6. Free and Paid Services

6a. Free Tier

Certain features of our Services are available at no cost ("Free Tier"). We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue Free Tier features at any time with reasonable notice.

6b. Paid Services

Where we offer paid features, including credit packs for the PFL Super Tool, additional terms and pricing will be presented at the time of purchase. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Credits purchased for the PFL Super Tool are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-transferable. Unused credits expire at the end of this period and are not refundable except as required by the Australian Consumer Law.

6c. Refunds

Refunds for paid Services are handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us at info@professionalfinancelink.com.au for refund requests.

7. Your Data

  • Financial data you enter into our Services is stored in your own Google Drive account — not on PFL's servers
  • You retain full ownership of your data at all times
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
  • You may delete your data at any time via your Google Drive

7a. PFL Super Tool — Data Processing and Accuracy

  • All payroll data you upload to the PFL Super Tool is processed entirely within your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on PFL's servers. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the payroll data you upload, and for verifying the generated SAFF file before submitting it to your superannuation clearing house.

  •  The PFL Super Tool validates superannuation fund identifiers (USI/ABN) against the Australian Government's Super Fund Lookup service, but this does not constitute a guarantee that a generated file will be accepted by any particular clearing house.

  • PFL is not a registered tax agent, superannuation clearing house, or APRA-regulated entity. The PFL Super Tool is a file conversion utility only and does not submit, lodge, or process superannuation payments on your behalf.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

PFL does not warrant that:

  • Our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Any information provided through our Services constitutes financial advice

Our Services are tools to assist with personal budgeting and financial organisation. They do not constitute financial advice. For financial advice, please consult a licensed financial adviser.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PFL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials comprising our Services are the property of PFL or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party platforms including Google and Clerk. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. PFL is not responsible for the practices of any third-party service providers.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
